11 – Title, credit & POV
“Drama is life with the dull bits cut out.”
ALFRED HITCHCOCK
Titles and how the animation starts it’s like a first impression. meanwhile, when I’m trying to learn a new FX trick in TVpaint I tried to put the title in a way that it will look like handwriting, as it’s a true story and in most of the scenes the camera’s point of view (POV) is the storyteller eye angle. I’ve researched the most famous scene in the animation when the camera works like the viewer. It helped me with my storytelling. There are shots of them looking in her hands, looking at her face in the mirror, and looking at her dog’s eyes. In all of these shots, the camera works like an in the character’s POV.
